

The premise of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is that the player's character, called the Stranger, must capture wanted outlaws, dead or alive. Two different live ammo types: a thudslug and a chippunk. A Nintendo Switch port was released on January 23, 2020, co-published by Microids. A build for the Wii U was announced in June 2013, but as of August 2015 the build was placed on-hold.

An Ouya build was released on January 27, 2015.

A mobile build was released in 2014 for Android and iOS. Development team Just Add Water developed an updated version of the game for release on the PlayStation 3 which was released on the PlayStation Network on Decemin Europe and Decemin North America.
